How to Become a Member

To Become A Member Of The Springfield Model Airplane Club

(1)   You must first be a member of The Academy of  Model Aeronautics.  (A.M.A)

Fill out form ama.pdf and mail with your check to:

 Academy of  Model Aeronautics
 5161 E. Memorial Drive
 Muncie, Indiana 47302-9050

Or, go to www.modelaircraft.org and follow directions.  Your A.M.A membership card will be mailed to you.

 (2)  It is necessary to read the SMAC Constitution, By-laws, and Flying Field Rules at:     

      www.smacoh.org/library/SMACpacket.pdf.

(3)  Fill out the Springfield Model Airplane Club Membership Application application.pdf

(4)  Send filled out Springfield Model Airplane Club Membership Application, a check for the appropriate amount, and a copy of your AMA membership card to:

Or, you can bring S.M.A.C. membership application, check or cash, and A.M.A. membership card to the S.M.A.C. flying field club meeting on first Tuesday of the month during the summer, (7:00 P.M.) or during the winter we meet at the:

Asbury Methodist Church
104 E. Clark Street
North Hampton, Ohio 45349

on the first Tuesday of the month during the winter months.  (7:30 P.M.)
